Hawkes Bay Training Weekend
We're meeting on the corner of Tait Rd and the SH, see map below at 10am on Sat, please bring map bags in case its raining and the usual stuff. Camping somewhere sat night, should be nice and relaxing...
Thanks for a great training weekend Jamie, and thanks to those of you who turned up for it! Good to see so many keen juniors... Just to recap some of the points we covered... Tongoio: 1.'cherish' the map:-) 2. Attacking controls from above Maraetotara: 1. simplifying rock detail- use contours, clumps of rocks and unique features Te Mata School: 1. Simple route choice 2. Plan ahead I hope to see these techniques being used at Queens Birthday weekend- good times! Penny
